Social media has had devastating effects on the psyche and mental heath of our youth and, in particular, young women. Studies show 3 out of 4 selfies posted by teenage and pre-teen girls are done so using unrealistic filters. We partnered with Dove and their Self-esteem project to help put a stop to the harmful effects of this digital distortion. Using targeted social posts, websites, digital banners, and even an “unfiltered filter” we brought parents and young girls the information and resources they need to fight back.
